Church Rooftop Replacement Update
Our flat roof replacement project is progressing. The old roofing has been removed, the new insulation is in place. The new rubber cover is on. Basically the only part that they haven’t finished is the rock that holds the rubber roof in place. Metal trim will be put in place give the roof it’s finished look. Four downspouts will be added to drain the water off of the roof. Cost of this project was $14,200, half of which is paid, and the other will be due upon completion.
The insulation value of the new roof is much higher than what we had with the old roof. Already we are noticing that the church foyer and classrooms are staying warmer. Our heat bill should also drop.
